Phil was the perfect choice for our small wedding! We had just immediate family at our wedding, and having him there felt like another family member. He was so energetic and personable the whole time. He was amazing at creating the serious moments for us, but would definitely laugh along with us during the fun ones! He even dropped by dinner to pick up the wedding license we forgot so he could turn it in for us (since we were leaving on a holiday and the courthouse wouldn't be open). He was amazing during the the whole process, and editing/choosing the ceremony and vows was a breeze with him. I cannot express how happy we were to have found him, and how much fun he made our day!
Phil was a true pleasure to work with and came highly recommended by our photographer, Nina Larsen. We initially met on Skype as my husband and I are from Kansas City. We could immediately tell that Phil was super friendly, outgoing, and would be the perfect fit for us! He provided us with several ceremony scripts to pick and choose parts from and was super helpful every step of the way! All his ceremonies are beautifully written from the heart and flow so naturally. He helped us craft the perfect ceremony that reflected my husband and I's personalities and wishes for our big day! He also took the time to meet with us once we got to Breckenridge at a coffee shop a few days before our ceremony to calm any nerves we had and walk through the script with us. Even though we were meeting him in person for the first time, Phil immediately felt like a true friend. We had an intimate ceremony with immediate family and we wanted to incorporate them someone how in our wedding ceremony. He had so many ideas for how to do this and we ended up having a ring warming ceremony and it meant so much to our family. The ceremony went so so well and he did it in a way that kept everyone present and helped us cherish every single moment. It was so beautifully done that we got much more emotional than we even imagined because Phil made it so special, personal, and meaningful. Phil is honestly one of the most genuine, caring, and down to earth people you will ever meet and we are so happy to have had him officiate our wedding. Hire Phil as your officiant! We eloped with just our dog and wanted the ceremony to be as unique and intimate as the entire day. Phil helped us through the process of creating the perfect passages for the ceremony that were specific to us and our relationship. We found him so easy and fun to work with, and our other vendors had the same feedback! He was energetic and sincere and seemed to genuinely be happy to share in this moment with us. Phil traveled to Crested Butte in the middle of winter for us, taking great care to give himself extra time to avoid road closures and traffic due to avalanches. What easily could have been a very stressful situation was totally fine because he was very communicative and prepared! He will be a great addition to your wedding - cannot recommend him enough!

He answered promptly, and gave me a quick low down of the services he provided. Not only is Phil very affordable, passionate, and just awesome to work with, but the ceremony he wrote for us brought me to tears the first time I read it! It was beautiful! We live in Greeley so meeting up was going to be a challenge, but we did a video conference and went through everything step by step; including the ceremony that he had written. He arrived to our venue on time, early in fact, and was the hit of the wedding. We had so many family members come up and relay how wonderful he was! If you need an officiant Phil is your guy! Could not have been happier with him and his services!!!

Unfortunately we were not able to meet him until the day of the wedding because of a prior wedding (which he let us know before we booked him), but we felt like we knew him forever! He stayed in constant contact until the day of the wedding, even reminding us to do the little things. He crafted a ceremony script that felt so much like us I cried when I read it for the first time. He will work with you to make the ceremony exactly what you want it to be. After the ceremony everyone asked if we knew him because he seemed like an old friend. I said, "Nope, just met him today!". He was so fun, creative, outgoing, and articulate. Our ceremony would not have been what it was without him. If you need an officiant, LOOK NO FURTHER :)
