The Morada was everything we hoped for in a venue for our wedding. The grounds are spectacular and it allowed for so much freedom for the guests to experience the beauty of Joshua Tree. It also is classy and elegant -- truly a memorable space that will leave guests in awe. We could not have imagined anywhere else more perfect and the staff care deeply about making your experience wonderful.
The Morada was the absolute perfect venue for our Joshua Tree wedding. Hunter and Devon have gone above and beyond not only in the design and amenities built into the space, but they are proactive in assisting with any concerns and have maintained great relationships with the other local vendors which made for seamless drop off and pickup of rentals and guests. The venue itself is beautiful and all of our guests were very impressed by how representative it is of what makes the desert so special. Even having our wedding in the summer, the shaded patio provides relief from the heat. We had 11 children at our wedding and the space was very accommodating and the surrounding land gave everyone enough area to explore. We could not have picked a better venue and wish we could relive our time at Morada over and over again.

The entire Happily Ever Adventure Co team was delighted with how the staff at The Morada went above and beyond for our couple throughout the entire process, from walkthrough through packing up the day after! They were in constant communication with us to help provide the best service despite drastic weather. We would be over the moon to work with The Morada again anytime! I highly recommend this desert venue to any couples looking for a stunning location for their wedding, complete with top notch service.
We absolutely LOVE the Morada! It took my husband and I a long time and many venue visits to find the place that felt like us. As soon as we stepped foot on the Morada property we knew it was the one. The landscape and the home is stunning! We stayed the whole weekend with our friends and family and it felt like a dream. From our first inquiry Devon was extremely responsive and helpful, answering every question I had! During the weekend Hunter and Pablo made sure everything ran so smoothly from helping with all our deliveries and pickups to answering any questions we had about the property. Our wedding dreams came to life because of this place. I can't recommend it enough!!
Both Hunter and Devon provided the most relaxing and enjoyable stay at the Morada. They were so accommodating and helpful! We hosted a beautiful and memorable wedding ceremony and reception on the property and it was one for the books. Our stay was everything we had imagined. Just Married at the Morada! We had a wonderful 80 guest wedding at this site. The backdrop is as beautiful as you can imagine. There are multiple areas for your ceremony and a variety of areas for your reception. Devon and her staff are a dream to work with and will help you throughout the process. With a site like this, you don't really need to bring in a huge amount of decor, rather, you let the site become the decor.
My wife and I had an idea of a wedding location as we went into looking for venues, looking for a place we didn't have to do much to in-terms of decor. We wanted somewhere with a natural beauty that was breath taking. When we went to go see the Morada in person we were speechless at the beauty and character the property had. We instantly saw this as our venue, the price point was surprisingly right in our budget and we had no trouble locking in our date. A year and months later we were saying our vows and dancing with one and another under the beautiful Joshua Tree sky surrounded by our loved ones and the beautiful rocks and cactuses the Morada has to offer. Our check in was seamless, our set up and wedding was as easy as easy can be. Not just my wife but our family who was able to stay with us for the weekend had a dream come true all possible to the Morada and the capabilities it offered. Not to mention they have an amazing network of vendors who are familiar with the property and location witch is a major plus. All and all we highly recommend the Morada to any couple looking for an intimate wedding or event under the desert sky.
I cannot say enough positive things about the Morada. To give a bit of info, my fiancé and I have been “planning” our wedding for quite some time. Between Covid, college, deployments, and changes of duty situation, our wedding has been pushed back and changed multiple times. A suddenly change of plans left my fiancé and I only 3 months to put a wedding together. Having previously toured the Morada last year, we made the decision to have our wedding here. I reached out to Devon, asked if she had April 18th available and once we received the go ahead, the wedding took off. I had a ton of questions, concerns, and last minute clarifications. Not only was she super understanding and responsive, she made everything so much easier. Now let’s talk about the venue. Beautiful! This was a destination wedding for my family. Coming from the east coast, the Joshua Tree rocks combined with the modern/relaxing desert theme was perfect. We received a ton of compliments on truly beautiful the venue was. We even had a guest ask for her Quinceañera to be held at the Morada. The day of: Perfect! I cannot say it enough. Exactly what we wanted and a phenomenal venue for a small intimate wedding. I also want to state that the Morada coordinators who assisted on the day of were amazing and even assisted when we found out we were missing some items. I highly recommend that if you are looking for a venue then this is the place for you.
The Morada was the perfect venue. As soon as we got there we knew we had to do it there. All the details were perfect aligned with the things we were looking for and Devon was always very nice and easy to talk when needed. Thank you so much!
The folks that own and operate it are so kind, organized, communicative and the some. This venue offers a beautiful background with a wide array of options for layout of your event etc. They worked with us as we planned our event, had questions, and needed tips/guidance on certain things for our event. They also know the best vendors to work with in town, and the vendors rave about this venue as well :) The house/property itself is stunning. Truly, jaw dropping beautiful. I will also add that staying there is very easy and comfortable, so if you can spring for that in your budget it is worth it. We stayed there all weekend with our friends (leading up to the weekend) and loved lounging by the pool during the day and sitting by the fire pit at night. It is the perfect distance from the main strip in town (so close, 10 mins) and also secluded enough to feel like you are out IN nature. ALL of our wedding guests and family were raving about how beautiful it is and how peaceful the property vibes are too! It was also an added lovely touch that the casita and house can separate our the wedding parties when getting ready. The nature surrounding the property is unbeatable. Stunning sunrises and sunsets. The star gazing is also super clear at night. There are a million little places you can take pictures and some literally PERFECT backdrops for the ceremony, family pics, and portraits. Honestly if you are planning a wedding out in Joshua Tree, pick this venue. It is easy to create the vibe you want for your event, and you will be so relaxed and feel the peace and beauty of Joshua Tree the whole time!
