The most iconic elopement spot in La Jolla — a natural bowl-shaped cliffside park where grass meets the sea. Stunning views of the Pacific with waves visible below and the gentle sound of surf. City of San Diego Shoreline Parks permit required ($200, minimum 10 days). Lottery system applies — one permit per day issued, lottery held 1st Monday of each month. Max 40 guests including vendors, but recommend 25. Standing ceremony only — no chairs or structures permitted. Restrictions: no receptions, no amplified sound, no glass, no alcohol, no flower petals/rice/confetti, no dogs 9am-6pm. Walk-up access from Coast Blvd with street parking (arrive early — parking is competitive). Wheelchair accessible. Hours: 8am-8pm. Best times: sunrise or late afternoon, west-facing for golden-hour light. Best seasons: September-October for clearest skies and sunsets; March-May for mild weather and wildflowers.

Our experience with Wedy was amazing. Cassi, our Planner was so great to work with, she was professional and made the wedding planning process so easy to digest. The communication from everyone (vendors + planners) was excellent and any questions we had were answered. The Wedy App was beyond incredible for my wedding. I got in touch with them 8 months before our wedding, and overall it was a stress free process. They helped my now wife and I find all of the services we needed (since we already had an officiant and photographer), and let us customize the rest of the package to fit us best! We had an amazing time eloping using this package. We booked a microwedding, with 10 of our closest friends + our family, and had a small ceremony at La Jolla. We had the choice between a few spots but ended up going with Windansea, by the ocean. Our photographer was amazing, she helped us navigate La Jolla, and took great pictures of us in front of the ocean. Honestly can say Wedy is the perfect matchmaker, our vendor team was excellent in every way! Cassi was our planner, and she worked with the rest of the Wedy team to create our timelines, find our vendors, _ Pinterest boards, etc. We ended up hosting our reception at Villa & Vine - gorgeous gorgeous wedding venue, after our cliffside ceremony. Thank you for a perfect wedding day, I will cherish these memories forever!
